Come discover Alaska’s hidden campground nestled away in the woods along the banks of the Kashwitna River where it flows into the Susitna River. You can fish from the bank or launch your jet-boat to access the surrounding streams. It has a lower non- electrical loop that runs along the Kashwitna River. It has two upper loops in the woods, one with electrical camps and one non-electrical with duel camp sites. You will find cold sodas in the store along with hot coffee. There is a lagoon to park your boat for the day. In the winter there is a trail system that starts here for the snow enthusiast.
Susitna Landing is a state-owned campground and boat access on the Kashwitna River, just upstream from the Susitna River. A private concessionaire provides on-site management. There is a hard surfaced boat launch with floating dock. Bank fishing. The state recently made substantial improvements, including a complete ADA upgrade for handicapped access.
